Oral, Poster & Video Presentations

    ORAL PRESENTATION

    Because of the severe time constraints of the Congress, only a small number of selected Oral Presentation slots will be available. Presenting authors will be informed and offered an alternative presentation category (e.g. poster) if their abstract is not selected for oral presentation. All oral presentations will have a scheduled day and time, which will be shared with the presenting authors once the program has been finalized. Oral presentations will consist of a 8-minute presentation with 6 minutes discussion between every 3 presentations.


    POSTERS

    Poster guidelines: The maximum poster size is 45″x 45″ (114.3 cm x 114.3 cm) – push pin or velcro receptive only (push pins / velcro will be provided on site). Posters should be easily read from a distance with large fonts. You will be provided with your poster number onsite when you check in at the registration desk.

    Poster set up: Thursday, July 11 – 7:00 am to 9:30 am
    Poster take down:
    Saturday, July 13, 4:00 – 5:30 pm.

    Poster viewing will take place during the following days and times:
    Thursday July 11
    – 5:30 – 7:00 pm (during Reception), 10:00 – 10:30 am (Break), 12:00 – 1:15 pm (Lunch), 3:30 – 4:00 pm (Break)
    Friday, July 12
    – 10:00 – 10:30 am (Break), 12:00 – 1:15 pm (Lunch), 3:30 – 4:00 pm (Break)
    Saturday, July 13 – 10:00 – 10:30 am (Break), 12:00 – 1:15 pm (Lunch), 3:30 – 4:00 pm (Break)


    Poster judging
    Only the top 10 best scored posters will be judged. Submitters will be informed if their poster has been selected for adjudication.

    Poster judging will take place on Thursday, July 11, during “Reception and Poster Viewing”, 5:30 – 7:00 pm.

    There will an award for posters placing 1st and 2nd. Awards ceremony will take place on Friday, July 12, 7:30 – 10:00 pm at the Congress Banquet.

    VIDEO PRESENTATION

    Presentations of videos will be followed by a short discussion. The film duration should not exceed 7 minutes. This will be followed by 5 minutes of facilitated discussion. The author should be present to narrate (in clear English).

    Video guidelines
    Formats – Video Presentations will be allowed in the following formats: .WMV file only -DVD, CD-Rom. Slide shows using Microsoft Power Point are accepted though strongly discouraged.
    Video Length – It is your responsibility to prepare your presentation to fit within the allowed time frame of 7 minutes for video presentations before a panel of experts, which will be followed by a 5-minute review and discussion. It is important to keep to the allotted time – for logistical reasons, as well as out of respect for co-presenters. Time keeping will be strict.
    Submission – WMV files only (up to 100Mb) upload available in the online submission form.
