  • Pol.Maj. Angkoon Anuwong, MD’s clinical research has focused on minimally invasive surgery especially NOTES, thyroid & parathyroid surgery. He is one of the pioneer in transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy (TOETVA) & parathyroidectomy (TOETPVA). He has the world’s largest series of transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy, now more than 600 cases to date.

    He is also an honor consultant and Asian continental chairman of the High Tech Surgery Association International Executive Committee and also one of the founder of Transoral Thyroidectomy Association (TOTA). Now he serves as laparoscopic surgeon and also a Program Director, Minimally Invasive Surgery Division, Department of Surgery, Police General Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand.
