Nancy Perrier, MD, FACS is an endowed and tenured Professor in the Department of Surgical Oncology at MD Anderson and is Chief of the Section of Surgical Endocrinology and Director of the Surgical Endocrinology Fellowship. Dr. Perrier is a native of Louisiana, a graduate of Louisiana State University and medical school. She completed her surgical training and served as chief resident at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and went on to complete fellowship training in both Endocrine Surgical Oncology and Outcomes Based Research in Epidemiology at the University of California at San Francisco. She was a National Institute of Health fellow. Dr. Perrier has had a career interest in endocrine neoplasms. Her academic prowess extends the breadth of cure- from extirpation of the gross surgical disease to predictive molecular profiling of tumors.
