Neil Tolley

  • Professor Neil Samuel Tolley MD, FRCS, DLO

    Having completed my undergraduate training and MD in Cardiff, I moved to London in 1988 as registrar to the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital. My post-graduate training was in London, South Africa, Australia and the US. I was accredited as an Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon in 1992 and appointed ENT surgeon to St Mary’s Hospital, London in 1994.

    I am the pioneer of Robotic Head & Neck Surgery in the UK and have over 160 peer-reviewed publications. I have supervised 7 MSc, 3 MD and 6 PhD students. I have held several appointments on regional and national committees and I am education lead for ENT training in North Thames. I have a national and international reputation in Thyroid and Robotic surgery. In 2016 I was conferred Professor at Imperial College, London.
