Pieter Noordzij

  • Dr. J. Pieter Noordzij joined the Boston University School of Medicine in July, 2006 as Associate Professor of Otolaryngology and was promoted to Full Professor in 2015. His areas of interest and expertise include voice and swallowing disorders, as well as thyroid and parathyroid disorders.
    Dr. Noordzij received his Medical Degree from the University of Virginia in 1990. He then completed his Surgical Internship at Tufts University/New England Medical Center in 1995 and his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck residency at the University of Virginia in 2000. After practicing otolaryngology for 5 years in the United States Air Force, Dr. Noordzij completed a fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice at Vanderbilt University in June 2006.
