Dr. Quan-Yang Duh is Professor of Surgery, Chief of Section of Endocrine Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and Attending Surgeon at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Duh graduated from Yale University in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He trained in General Surgery and Endocrine Surgery at the University of California, in San Francisco.
Dr. Duh is an expert endocrine surgeon and advance laparoscopic surgeon. His research interest is in endocrine tumors of the thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas and adrenal glands. Dr. Duh has been the President of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, the San Francisco Surgical Society, and the Northern California Chapter of American College of Surgeons. He has published more than 300 papers, co-edited three textbooks on endocrine surgery, and is on the editorial board of Thyroid, JAMA-Surgery and World Journal of Surgery.
