WCTC - World Congress on Thyroid Cancer

Dr. Eveline Slotema is a Dutch-trained general surgeon specialist in oncological surgery, based in Marseille, France, with particular interest in thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and endocrine surgery as certified by the European Board of Surgical Examination. She has extensive experience in minimally invasive endocrine procedures and was among the pioneers in France to introduce radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and microwave ablation for benign thyroid nodules, actively involved in minimally invasive thyroid therapy training programs. Dr. Slotema practices at Hôpital Européen and University Hospital Marseille.

WCTC Mission Statement

The mission of the World Congress on Thyroid Cancer is to:

Develop a collegial multidisciplinary global platform for all specialists for the discussion on the diagnosis, and treatment of thyroid cancer
Create an environment to stimulate research in the field of thyroid oncology
Build the groundwork for future direction in the management and research in thyroid cancer
Foster camaraderie and build relationships to develop opportunities amongst all professional colleagues for exchange of information and experiences as well as research findings
