Catherine Sinclair works at Mount Sinai West, New York where she serves as the Director of Head and Neck Surgery. She is dual board certified in Australasia and the United States and completed dual fellowships in Head and Neck surgery and Laryngology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the New York Center for Voice and Swallowing, respectively. She is an active member of numerous Endocrine and Laryngology National Committees. Recently her team has pioneered a new continuous neuromonitoring technique for the vagus nerve which can monitor motor, sensory and brainstem vagus nerve pathways. Research interests include intraoperative neuromonitoring of laryngeal nerves during thyroid and parathyroid surgery and neurophysiology / pathology of the human larynx. She has published and spoken widely on these and other related areas.
