Dae Kim is a Head & Neck and Thyroid based at the St George’s University Hospital, London. He is dual-qualified in Medicine (Edinburgh University) and Dentistry (Birmingham University). He was awarded a PhD in molecular research after studies in Harvard University and Birmingham University. He continues his research program collaborating closely with the Thyoid unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Institute of Cancer Research. He supervises several MD/PhD fellows as part of a wide program which includes studies into the role of immunotherapy in aggressive thyroid cancers, circulating DNA as a novel biomarker, qualitative research in patient experience and molecular biology of salivary cancers. He is currently, committee member of the Royal Society of Medicine in Laryngology, National Institute of Cancer Research Thyroid Subgroup and advises the National Institute of Clinical Excellence.
