Dr. Dimitrios Linos is Professor and Chairman of the 5th Surgical Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School.
Dr. Linos had his residency training in Surgery at the Mayo Clinic after a year of Clinic and Research Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Before returning to Greece he was Assistant Professor of Surgery at Case Western Reserve University.
His clinical and academic contribution are mostly related in the field of Endocrine Surgery where he has published several significant papers and has been the Editor of such textbooks as “The Adrenal Glands” and “Minimally Invasive Thyroidectomy”. He is currently the President of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons.
