Ken Kazahaya

  • Dr. Kazahaya is the Associate Director of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Director of the Pediatric Skull Base Program, and Medical Director of the Cochlear Implant Program at CHOP. He is also Co-lead surgeon for the Pediatric Thyroid Center at CHOP – which began in 2009 and performed over 500 thyroidectomies since inception of the program.

    Dr. Kazahaya received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (PENN). He continued at PENN for a Doctorate in Medicine and then completed a residency in otolaryngology at PENN and a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at CHOP. He also received a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at PENN.

    Dr. Kazahaya is member of AAO, ACS, AHNS, NASBS, ASPO, ESPO, ATA, APTS, and a liason for the American Head and Neck Society Endocrine Section to the Asian Federation of Endocrine Societies.
