Manisha Shah, MD, Professor of Internal Medicine, Section Chief of Endocrine Medical Oncology, and Co-director of the Thyroid Cancer Unit at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her work focuses on building world-class multidisciplinary programs in neuroendocrine tumors, thyroid and adrenocortical cancers. She developed and led innovative clinical trials resulting in first line standard of care therapies for rare cancers for which otherwise no standard treatment was available.
She serves as Chair of the International Thyroid Oncology Group and NCCN Neuroendocrine Tumor and Adrenal Tumor Guidelines Panel. She has spoken at events including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association of Cancer Research, American Thyroid Association, and the International Congress on Targeted Therapies in Cancer.
Dr. Shah has published in journals with exceedingly high impact factors including Journal of Clinical Investigation, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Journal of Immunology, Lancet, Nature Medicine, New England Journal of Medicine, and Oncogene.
