Dr. Duh is Professor and Chief of Endocrine Surgery at the University California, San Francisco (UCSF). He obtained his BS in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University, and MD from UCSF. He specializes in surgery of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands, and other complex minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Duh is Past President of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeon, Past President of the American College of Surgeons’ Northern California Chapter, Past President of San Francisco Surgical Society and Past President of the Pacific Coast Surgical Association. He received the 2017 Paul Starr Award from the American Thyroid Association (ATA).
Dr. Duh has co-authored more than 400 papers on topics of endocrine and laparoscopic surgeries, and is an editor of three editions of the Textbook of Endocrine Surgery. He is on the editorial board of JAMA-Surgery, World Journal of Surgery, Thyroid and Video Endocrinology.
