Whitney Liddy, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Northwestern Memorial Hospital / Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. She graduated summa cum laude and phi beta kappa from Dartmouth College. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha. She went on to complete her residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery also at Northwestern, graduating with awards in teaching and research. She then completed a fellowship in thyroid and parathyroid surgery under Dr. Gregory Randolph at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary / Harvard Medical School. Her main clinical and research interests focus on the surgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disease, recurrent and superior laryngeal nerve monitoring, and thyroid cancer. She is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
